So often people of faith are taken on unplanned journeys. I suspect Abram was rather content living comfortably on his sizable piece of land with his wife, servants, animals and an abundance of food. Yet when he welcomes God into his heart and life, living in comfort and contentment gives way to an adventurous journey. “Go” is the word he hears from God. Go where?
