I have heard these words dozens, maybe even hundreds, of times. I have used them almost as many. But it is possible that a phrase, or in this case a verse, can become too familiar. They can lose their power and meaning. I officiated at a celebration of life for Lee Higgins this week. This verse was used as a part of the service. The meaning was clear. Lee embraced life fully, even the hard stuff. Her daughter described her as a “car guy”. She loved learning everything she could about cars. She attended many a Car Show down at the Convention Center. Her next car was going to be hydrogenfueled. But her philosophy of driving became her philosophy of living.
