It’s not easy being apart during Advent-Christmas. I think back to last Easter and how hard it was to celebrate the resurrected Christ in an empty sanctuary. I never dreamed that eight months later we would be celebrating the birth of Jesus in that same empty sanctuary. I also never dreamed that we would experience so much loss in our church during 2020.
