Of all the meals the disciples shared with Jesus, I can’t imagine they ever had a breakfast quite like the one they had with him that day. As John tells the story he describes Jesus sitting on the beach cooking up some fish over a fire while the disciples were out fishing. I can’t help but wonder what went through their minds when they first recognized him and then heard his invitation to come join him for breakfast.
